British luxury has never been more affordable
The end of 2016 marked the culmination of an extremely exciting and successful year for iCandy, a year which saw us crowned with the Queens Award for International Trade, and the launch of some truly fantastic products. We are well aware however that it has also been a year that has presented a great many challenges for British iCandy families, particularly with the uncertainty brought about by the Brexit vote.
As a proud British family business that is now approaching 84 years of age we have always counted on the incredible support and loyalty that British parents have consistently demonstrated, and this has been the bedrock of our brand’s success. Without the support of iCandy families we would not be in a position to promote Great British innovation and design around the world.
We realise that in these uncertain times parents have a choice in which pushchair to buy and we want to do our best to ensure that families who want an iCandy pushchair, and want the very best for their children, are able to have one. Even though iCandy has faced the same universal currency challenges since June, we feel that now is the time more than ever to get behind the UK economy, and do our bit to build a brighter future for all of our families.
This is why when most brands are increasing their prices; we are not just holding, but actually reducing our online retail prices on many of our most popular products including our best-selling Peach and All-Terrain, the ultra-versatile Strawberry, and even our stunning iCandy MiChair.
We truly hope that these changes ensure that iCandy remain an affordable option for parents expecting in 2017 and beyond. We have an intensive schedule of product launches planned over the coming years and will, particularly with Great British support, continue developing the most innovative and desirable pushchairs and nursery products as we continue to export Great British Design around the world.
