The Christmas season is well and truly here! The decorations are up and we are already considering cracking open the mulled wine. During this magical time, we often find ourselves thinking of those who are less fortunate than us. We have put together a few simple ideas to guide you in helping those in need this Christmas.
Reverse Advent Calendar
Reverse advent calendars involve you filling a collection every day with items of food or clothing that can then be taken to a food bank or charity in order to help those less fortunate that are struggling at Christmas time.
This is a really amazing activity to do with the whole family. Not only are you collecting for a great cause, but it also teaches your little ones the importance of helping others and seeing the bigger picture at Christmas.
Give your Time
Charities and food banks often need an extra helping hand, but even more so at Christmas time. Whether you are volunteering in your local charity shop or assisting in nationwide food bank distribution, your time is always a valuable gift.

Paws for Thought – the gift that gives back
Do you want to give a gift that gives back this Christmas? Our Paws for Thought collection is in tribute to Great Ormond Street Hospital’s Bear Ward which cares for children with serious cardiac conditions. 20% of the proceeds from every purchase go directly to GOSH Charity so the t-shirts are perfect gifts for your loved ones, that do good too.
Whatever the age of the recipients, the collection is available to buy as a Newborn Bundle, featuring two adult T-Shirts and one babygrow, as a Family Bundle featuring an adult T-Shirt, Toddler T-Shirt and a babygrow or as individual pieces.
