iCandy IMPACT Team
Leading the Charge: The iCandy IMPACT Team Driving Positive Change
The IMPACT Team was founded to lead iCandy’s sustainability efforts by bringing together employees from across the business to help embed environmental thinking into everyday operations. From practical policies to awareness campaigns and internal initiatives, the team drives change through collaboration and shared responsibility.
These efforts reflect iCandy’s commitment to recognising the role it plays in environmental responsibility and align with our mission to elevate the journey of parenthood through innovation, style and sustainability.
ISO 14001 Certification Environmental Management
iCandy has achieved ISO 14001 certification, an internationally recognised standard for effective environmental management systems. This reflects ongoing efforts to identify, monitor, and reduce the environmental impact of its operations. As part of this, a cross-functional IMPACT team has been established to set measurable objectives—such as reducing packaging waste, improving energy efficiency and sourcing more sustainable materials. These initiatives are part of iCandy’s wider goal to integrate environmental responsibility into product development and business practices, rather than treating sustainability as an isolated concern.
The iCandy IMPACT Team: Leading Charity Initiatives
At iCandy, we take pride in our commitment to supporting charitable causes across the UK. Through our charity partnerships with Great Ormond Street Hospital, the PANDAS Foundation and The Lullaby Trust, we strive to make a positive impact in our community and beyond. The IMPACT Team coordinates these efforts and encourages staff participation in events such as the 3 Peaks Challenge and The Great GOSH Rowing Challenge, helping the business and staff contribute meaningfully to these causes.
Revive and Sustain: iCandy iService
At iCandy, we’re focussed on reducing waste and supporting product longevity. Our iService repair and restoration offering helps extend the life of our pushchairs, reducing the need for replacement and helping to minimise landfill waste. By keeping products in use for longer, we contribute to a more circular approach that prioritises reuse over disposal. Our skilled technicians ensure performance and safety are maintained, reinforcing our commitment to durability and product stewardship. Through iService, we support more responsible consumption and take a meaningful step toward greater circularity in everyday parenting.
Box Reuse Policy: Embedding Sustainability Across iCandy
iCandy has introduced a business-wide box reuse policy as part of its ongoing efforts to promote more sustainable practices internally. Staff across departments are encouraged to identify and set aside clean, undamaged boxes for reuse, helping to minimise packaging waste in day-to-day operations. All returned boxes are checked to ensure they meet quality standards before being repurposed for future use. This initiative supports a culture of environmental responsibility within the workplace and contributes to our wider sustainability objectives through simple, practical action.
Cycle to Work Policy: Supporting Sustainable Commuting
At iCandy, we support more sustainable ways of commuting through our Cycle to Work policy. By encouraging employees to cycle to work, we help reduce transport-related carbon emissions while promoting health and wellbeing. The scheme makes cycling more financially accessible for all employees, helping to remove cost barriers. By choosing active travel, our team can contribute to a lower-impact commute while enjoying the personal benefits of cycling.
