The iCandy Cocoon car seat is a rear facing car seat which can be used with an Isofix base or seat belt.


Is the iCandy Cocoon car seat compatible with my iCandy pushchair?


The iCandy Cocoon car seat is compatible with the following pushchairs –

Is the iCandy Cocoon car seat and Isofix base compatible with my car?


The Isofix base is compatible with Isofix-fitted cars. If you are unsure if your car is Isofix-fitted please contact your car manufacturer.


What age baby does the Cocoon go up to?


The cocoon car seat goes from birth to 15 months and 13kg


What type of harness is used on the Cocoon car seat?


The harness is a 5 point safety harness with a press/click button release. The harness size is easily adjustable using the ‘adjustment’ button.

How long can a baby be in a car seat?


The general rule is that babies (children up to 1 year) can stay in a car seat for a maximum of two hours. This is because being in a partially upright position can put pressure on the spine and restrict airflow to their lungs.

Can a Cocoon car seat go in the front seat?


Car seats should only be placed in the back seat. However, if you need to place a child seat in the front seat you must deactivate all front airbags.

What should I do if I have put my car seat in the base the wrong way round (forward facing)?


You will need to take the Isofix base out of the car with the car seat still attached. You will then have to press the release button and you may have to apply some pressure to remove the car seat.


How do I clean my Cocoon car seat fabrics?


The removable fabrics are hand was only, any fabrics that cannot be removed are wipe clean only.


Do I need to maintain my Cocoon car seat and Isofix base?


Customers should maintain their Cocoon car seat and Isofix base properly to enable their car seat and base to perform at its best.


How do I maintain my Cocoon car seat and Isofix base?


You should regularly carry out the following basic maintenance practices and checks:

  • Inspections for any loose components (and maintenance if required)
  • Cleaning and lubrication of any moving parts or components
  • Checking of 5-point harness


How many years’ warranty does my Cocoon car seat have?


The Cocoon car seat and Isofix base come with a 2 year manufacturing warranty.


Can I transfer my warranty?


The warranty is only valid for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.


Are there any exceptions on my warranty?


The fabrics on your car seat have a 6 month manufacturing warranty.
