iCandy pop-up in Belgravia: The Strawberry Style Collection Launch

iCandy Launch the NEW Strawberry Style Collection at the Daniel Galvin Jr. Salon in Belgravia.

Celebrating our fantastic achievement of winning a Queens Award for Enterprise in International trade earlier this year, along with the Queen’s 90th birthday, we unveiled the new exclusive Strawberry Style Collection this past Monday. The new Strawberry Style Collection is a homage to classic British design, and will be available to purchase from October 2016 whilst stocks last.

Hairdresser to the stars, Daniel Galvin Juniors salon is nestled in the beautiful location of Belgravia London, and for one day we transformed the venue into an iCandy showroom and events space to celebrate the launch of our new Strawberry Style Collection. Both press and bloggers assembled at the wonderful venue to catch a glimpse of the exclusive product launch. The new collection features distinctive fully reversible flavour packs, which a parent can mix and match to suit their sense of style. The flavour pack consists of a seat liner, canopy and harness pads. There are over 16 combinations in total per flavour pack, meaning parents around the world can customise the pushchair with their very own unique sense of style.

The Strawberry Style Collection encompasses three typically British flavours. Firstly, the Cambridge Edition features a khaki canvas waxed fabric, with a grey quilted herringbone material. The second pack to be introduced is the Strawberry Soho, boasting a beautiful charcoal grey fabric, complete with a silver sheen trim. The Tudor edition of the Strawberry Style collection displays a rich navy blue fabric, infused with a stunning bronze nylon finish. Each pushchair within the Strawberry Style collection is identified with rich embroidered iconic branding, for that lasting finish.

Leading the way for AW16, the collection was received with delight from a variety of beauty, fashion and parenting press. The day represented an amazing opportunity for iCandy parents and press to get exclusive access to the new collection and spend time with the brand.

Freelance writer and iCandy Mum, Zoe who blogs on showbiz site, Live Like a VIP came to the event with gorgeous baby boy Rory James. Lady Natasha Rufus Isaacs, founder of Beulah London also paid a visit to the salon, bringing along her adorable daughter Georgia, who instantly found the wonderful toy iCandy MiPeach. Whilst iCandy Peach owners Cat Simms of Not So Smug Now, and Natalie of Baby Led Weaning Cookbook, visited to catch up with the PR team and to admire the new range. Common consensus from the event was the positive feedback regarding the Strawberry Style Collection, with many citing “pushchair envy” and praising the classic British design with luxurious fabrics. Talithaa Mimms added further glamour to the event, and was naturally coordinating her stylish outfit with the Strawberry Soho collection. Talitha was accompanied by adorable baby boy August, who was also a fan of the new collection. Nine in the Mirror, Angels and Urchins, Gurgle, Hello! Magazine to name a few also checked into Belgravia. Amongst the other guests, no iCandy event would be complete without the founder of the Dad Network Al, making an appearance, who stepped up for a picture with the Cambridge Edition looking dapper with his matching Barbour jacket.

We had a truly fantastic day at the launch of our new limited edition collection, it was lovely to see some familiar faces, along with a few new ones. It was a pleasure to share the morning talking through the new Strawberry Collection along with people who share our passion for the iCandy brand.

The Strawberry Style Collection comprises the very best of British; sleek iCandy craftsmanship is effortlessly infused with vintage British design. The new collection is the pushchair which exudes style, along with unparalleled functionality. We apologise to those who couldn’t make it but hope you manage to get an opportunity to see the new Collection for yourself in the not too distant future.
