10 Year Pushchair Warranty: Cover, Claims & Terms

Version 19 Oct 2026

We design iCandy pushchairs to last. Our 10 year warranty supports longer product life, reuse between families and our commitment to reducing waste.

This warranty applies only to iCandy pushchairs manufactured on or after 1 April 2026 and originally purchased new from an authorised iCandy UK retailer.

No warranty registration is required. You only need to keep your proof of purchase.

What Is Covered

Your iCandy pushchair and all components supplied as part of the pushchair are covered for 10 years from the original date of purchase against manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.

This includes the chassis, frame, wheels, tyres, seat units, carrycots, fabrics, hoods, harnesses, baskets, handles, mechanisms and other components forming part of the pushchair.

If your pushchair is purchased as a double or twin configuration, any additional seat units or carrycots included in that purchase are also covered for 10 years from the same original purchase date.

Certain accessories supplied with your pushchair are covered by separate warranty terms. See Accessories below.

Examples include parasols, footmuffs, changing bags, rain covers, sunscreens, clamps, cup holders, elevators and car seat adaptors.

What Is a Manufacturing Defect?

A manufacturing defect is a fault in the materials or workmanship of the product that arose from its manufacture, even if the fault only becomes apparent later.

The warranty does not mean that the product or its components will remain in their original condition for 10 years. Normal wear, ageing and deterioration resulting from use are not manufacturing defects.

For example, a wheel, tyre or fabric component is covered for the full warranty period against manufacturing defects. Normal tyre wear, fabric fading or abrasion through use is not a manufacturing defect.

The age of a product or component does not, by itself, determine whether a fault is covered.

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover faults, damage or deterioration caused by:

  • normal wear, ageing or deterioration consistent with the product's age, amount and conditions of use, including normal tyre wear, fabric abrasion, fading, discolouration and gradual wear of mechanical components;
  • cosmetic damage arising from use, including scratches, scuffs, chips, dents and stains;
  • accidental damage, including airline or transport damage and vehicle collisions;
  • misuse, running with the pushchair where it is not designed for this purpose, incorrect mounting or dismounting of kerbs, overloading or use contrary to the instruction manual;
  • theft or circumstances in which the product has been declared a total loss or insurance write-off;
  • environmental exposure, including sand, salt, seawater, road salt, extreme weather or other environmental conditions;
  • alterations, modifications or tampering;
  • an unauthorised repair, non-approved part or non-approved accessory, where this caused or materially contributed to the fault or damage; or
  • inadequate maintenance, cleaning or care where this caused or materially contributed to the fault or damage.

A manufacturing defect is not excluded simply because the product shows normal signs of age or use.

Maintenance and Care

Regular care and maintenance are strongly recommended to keep your pushchair safe, working correctly and in good condition. Follow the care and maintenance instructions in your product instruction manual.

Failure to carry out recommended maintenance does not, by itself, invalidate this warranty. However, faults or damage caused or materially contributed to by inadequate maintenance, cleaning or care are not covered.

We recommend that you regularly:

  • check for loose components;
  • clean and lubricate moving components as instructed;
  • check the parking devices and brakes; and
  • check the five-point harness.

After use in wet, muddy, sandy, coastal or other adverse conditions, remove mud, debris, road salt, gritting salt, sand and seawater residue, and allow the product to dry and air fully.

Accessories

The 10 year pushchair warranty does not apply to accessories, even where they are supplied as part of a pushchair bundle.

This includes footmuffs, changing bags, rain covers, sunscreens, car seat adaptors, elevators, cup holders and clamps.

Accessories purchased separately, including parasols and other iCandy accessories, are also excluded from this 10 year pushchair warranty.

These products are covered by their own applicable iCandy accessory warranty.

A hood or canopy forming part of a pushchair seat unit or carrycot is a pushchair component and is covered by this 10 year warranty. A separate sunscreen or sunshade accessory is not.

Additional Seat Units and Carrycots Purchased Later

An additional iCandy seat unit or carrycot purchased separately does not take the warranty start date of the original pushchair.

It has its own 10 year warranty from its own date of purchase, subject to the separate iCandy 10 year Seat Unit and Carrycot Warranty and its own proof of purchase.

Transferring the Warranty

This warranty may be transferred with the pushchair to a subsequent owner.

The original proof of purchase must be transferred with the product and provided when making a warranty claim.

Transferring the product does not restart or extend the warranty. The new owner receives the remainder of the original 10 year warranty period.

Proof of Purchase

No warranty registration is required.

To make a claim, you must provide proof that the product was originally purchased new from an authorised iCandy UK retailer.

A copy, electronic receipt or other evidence of purchase is acceptable if it identifies the product, authorised retailer and original purchase date.

Making a Warranty Claim

Years 1 to 5

For claims during the first five years from the original purchase date, contact the authorised iCandy retailer from whom the product was originally purchased, including where the warranty has been transferred to a subsequent owner. Provide the original proof of purchase and details of the fault.

The retailer will follow the standard iCandy warranty process.

If the original retailer is no longer trading, contact iCandy Customer Services for assistance.

Years 6 to 10

For claims after the first five years and for the remainder of the 10 year warranty period, contact iCandy Customer Services directly.

You will need to provide proof of purchase, information identifying the product and a description of the fault. We may ask for photographs or video to help us assess your claim.

If a physical inspection is required, we will tell you how the product should be returned or made available for inspection. Do not send a product to iCandy, a retailer or repair centre unless instructed to do so.

If inspection finds that the problem is not covered by this warranty, iCandy may charge reasonable inspection and return carriage costs. We will tell you about any potential charges before you agree to send the product for inspection.

Repair or Replacement

If we confirm a manufacturing defect covered by this warranty, iCandy will, at its discretion and at no charge to you:

  • repair the defective component; or
  • replace the defective component where repair is not reasonably possible or appropriate.

If the original component is no longer available, we may use a suitable alternative component of an equivalent or higher standard.

Due to changes in products, materials and colourways during the 10 year warranty period, we cannot guarantee that a replacement component will be identical in colour, finish or appearance to the original.

If the product cannot reasonably be repaired and a suitable replacement component is not available, iCandy may replace the product with an equivalent or reasonably comparable product from the iCandy range available at that time.

Any component or product supplied as a warranty repair or replacement is covered for the remainder of the original warranty period. A repair or replacement does not start a new 10 year warranty.

For an approved warranty claim, iCandy will cover the reasonable costs of parts, labour and carriage required to provide the warranty remedy within the United Kingdom.

Parts and Product Availability

Products, components, materials, finishes and colours may change or be discontinued during the 10 year warranty period.

We will make reasonable efforts to maintain appropriate spare parts to support warranty repairs, but cannot guarantee that an identical component, colour, finish or model will remain available throughout the warranty period.

Where an identical replacement is unavailable, the remedies set out under Repair or Replacement will apply.

Products Located Outside the United Kingdom

This warranty applies to qualifying products originally purchased new from an authorised iCandy UK retailer.

If the product is subsequently moved outside the United Kingdom, the warranty will continue for the remainder of its applicable warranty period.

If the product is located outside the United Kingdom, including the Isle of Man or Channel Islands, when warranty service is required, iCandy will contribute the reasonable carriage cost that would have applied if the product were located within the United Kingdom.

The warranty holder is responsible for additional international carriage, shipping, customs, import, export or similar charges.

Contact iCandy before returning a product from outside the United Kingdom.

Our Responsibility Under This Warranty

Where a manufacturing defect covered by this warranty is confirmed, iCandy will provide the applicable remedy described under Repair or Replacement.

Unless required by law, this warranty does not cover travel costs, loss of use of the product or the cost of hiring, purchasing or providing a temporary pushchair while a claim is being assessed or completed.

Nothing in this warranty excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Your Statutory Rights

This warranty is provided in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights as a consumer.

You may have rights under applicable consumer protection law where goods are faulty, not as described or do not meet the standards required by law. These rights are separate from, and are not limited or replaced by, this warranty.

Designed to Last

Our 10 year warranty reflects our commitment to creating pushchairs that are made to last, be cared for and enjoyed for longer.

By looking after your iCandy pushchair and giving it a longer life, whether within your own family or by passing it on to another, you can help reduce waste and make the most of the product for years to come.

If you have any questions about caring for your pushchair or need support during your warranty period, our iCandy team is here to help.
