iCandy says:
Simple in packaging design, this nipple cream contains 100% HPA Lanolin which is naturally hypoallergenic and approved by the British Allergy Foundation. Whilst its thick consistency is effective, it does mean it's a little messier to use.
What's on the box
Lansinoh HPA® Lanolin is completely hypoallergenic. It has been specially developed to help soothe and protect sore, cracked nipples in breastfeeding mothers.
First impressions of the Lansinoh HPA Lanolin Nipple Cream
"Nice packaging. Very thick and sticky consistency."
- Amanda
"Simple tube, easy to open and use. Product is quite stiff when coming out, it does need warming up first which makes it slightly more time consuming. It coats the area well and feels silky on the skin."
- Lisa
"The Lansinoh packaging is clear and simple and it looks more like a traditional baby hygiene product than the other balms. The packaging states that the cream is hypoallergenic and 100% natural-containing just one ingredient, lanolin. The texture is slightly thicker and stickier than the other balms, but still leaves a slight oily residue on the skin. It is totally fragrance free and absorbs into the skin fairly well and is easy to rub in."

How did the Lansinoh HPA Lanolin Nipple Cream improve your breastfeeding experience?
Soothing
"Effective balm, helped to soothe my sore nipples." - Amanda
"Kept nipples soft and prevented them from drying and cracking."
- Lisa
"I found this cream to be very soothing and moisturising, and with only one ingredient it feels like a really nice option and something that you can use very frequently. I also found it quite nice to rub any residue into my hands and again this cream can be used as a lip balm, which is very handy and means you don't need to grab an extra product before a long feed or nap!"
- Kathryn
Would you recommend Lansinoh HPA Lanolin Nipple Cream?
No
No, there is better ones on the market - consistency is too thick and gets messy around the product and in my bra.
- Amanda
Yes
Yes, it's a simple balm that softens skin and makes for a great balm for dry lips too.
- Lisa
Yes
I would definitely recommend this product. Its got the fewest ingredients of the three options and I found that very reassuring, especially around a newborn baby. Its got a nice texture and left my skin feeling really smooth and soft. It is slightly stickier than the other options but once rubbed in, left hardly any residue at all. I'd like to see this cream in a pump format which I think would be cleaner and easier to use.

Reviewer recommendations
iCandy Recommends
Whilst more basic in design than other nipple creams, the Lansinoh HPA Lanolin Nipple Cream impressed our review panel with its soothing, moisturising and natural qualities. The downside overall was the thick formulation that made rubbing the product into the skin a bit more time consuming and the tube style packaging which didnโt offer the cleanest or easiest solution.
