This permanent position offers a unique opportunity to become a vital member of our technical team. As a Pushchair Repair/Service Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our cutting-edge parenting products, with a specific focus on iCandy pushchairs.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Diagnosing and repairing a range of products, primarily iCandy pushchairs.
• Generating accurate technical reports for internal use, documenting repairs and solutions.
• Maintaining comprehensive photographic records of all product repairs for reference and documentation.
• Assisting with the intake and management of returned stock while maintaining precise inventory records.
• Supporting the technical team during stocktaking activities to uphold inventory accuracy.
• Contribute to the overall tidiness and organisation of the workspace.
• At times, perform additional tasks such as packing spare parts, preparing sample stock for consumer shows, and conducting basic product quality control inspections.
• Proficiency in technical repairs and the use of basic hand tools.
• Strong organisational skills to efficiently manage repairs and documentation.
• Exceptional time management and punctuality.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and effectively work both independently and within a team.
• Flexible approach to work and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive "can-do" attitude.
• A quick learner with the ability to grasp new repair techniques and processes.
• Capability to prioritise workloads effectively to meet deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and good written English skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• The ability to understand and follow instructions accurately.
• Capability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with customers regularly.
• Physical fitness to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20Kg regularly, and perform tasks such as reaching, bending, and twisting throughout the workday.
