Great Ormond Street Hospital

Great Ormond Street Hospital

iCandy is a family business and our business is families. We recognise that our responsibilities extend beyond iCandy, striving to take responsibility for looking after the well-being of families throughout their parenting journey, whilst also contributing to the community.

iCandy is proud to continually raise funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), which go towards helping the hundreds of seriously ill children who arrive at the hospital every day and also help maintain its position as the UK’s largest dedicated funder of child health research.

Since 2016, it has been a great privilege to support Great Ormond Street Hospital, a cause very close to the hearts of our family, inspired by personal experience and involvement there.

At the start of the partnership with GOSH, iCandy pledged to raise £100,000 towards the development of a brand-new enclosed isolation recovery bay at the hospital - crucial for children who need a dedicated space to recover following an operation.

At the end of our first year of partnership with GOSH we were extremely proud to have reached £55,000 thanks to fantastic efforts by iCandy staff and customers. From skydives to triathlons, impressive physical challenges were undertaken by members of the iCandy team to reach the £100,000 target. The auction of limited edition iCandy pushchairs and the donation of £10 from every sale of selected products, has also helped significantly towards the incredible fundraising feat.

Continuing our support

The attainment of our £100,000 target saw the figure continue to rise due to regular initiatives like iCandy’s Paws for Thought matching family apparel collection, with 20% of all proceeds going to GOSH, along with customer donations at the iCandy checkout.

Sharing our expertise

iCandy is also proud to support GOSH by collaborating with the medical experts there and providing the hospital with especially modified iCandy pushchairs, adapted by iCandy so that they can be used to provide greatly needed mobility for children with cardiac conditions.

The modified iCandy Strawberry allows children to visit different spaces, like the GOSH outdoor areas.
