Lady Natasha Rufus Isaacs is an English aristocrat and founder of luxury fashion brand Beulah. Natasha is also now a mum to a beautiful five month old baby girl called Georgia Liberty Andrena. We caught up with her to see how is she getting on with her new role as a mum and what plans she has for the future:
How has being a mum changed your life?
It has totally changed my life! In an incredible way! It’s been a huge adjustment and challenge trying to juggle my work, but hopefully am getting the hang of it. Georgia is gorgeous – I’m totally obsessed! It's lovely now the sun is out and we can enjoy girls days out together in the warmer weather.
How many more children do you plan to have?
I can only just about manage one at the moment, the thought of any more makes me panic!
Do you think Beulah will move into children’s fashion?
Yes, eventually. We are focusing on women’s wear at the moment, but wouldn’t rule it out for the future.
What have been your favourite baby fashion items?
The Verity bag in black patent. The zip tote is one of the luxury bags from the iCandy collection. Designed by ex-Mulberry designer, Janet Collin, the Verity is stunning with handy go-to-grab pockets.
One of my favourite fashion items is the iCandy Peach 3, I often get complimented on the colour way – we chose Black Magic which is a sleek black on a high polished chrome chassis with the iconic logo beautifully lasered into the frame.
Why did you choose an iCandy for Georgia?
iCandy is a premium, high quality brand that produces fabulous pushchairs and accessories brimming with innovative features for the modern parent. The choice of fashion-forward colours throughout the range make the pushchairs really stylish.
We wanted something that looked sleek and sophisticated, while also giving us the practicality to make our day to day lives easier. The iCandy pushchairs are so easy to take out and about and look amazing at the same time.
What’s your favourite thing about the iCandy Peach?
The one-hand fold makes collapsing extremely quick and easy, and the elevators mean the carrycot can be positioned higher and closer, allowing further interaction between myself and Georgia.
The iCandy Peach 3 is also styled to perfection, its large wheels makes the ride for Georgia seamless, no matter how bumpy the terrain. It works so well for both me and Georgia that it really has become part of our family.
How did you find the iCandy Peach in the city?
I spend a lot of time walking around cities, so having a pushchair that makes this as easy as possible is important.
The iCandy Peach 3 is ideal, as it is freestanding when folded meaning I have two hands free when I need them. It also means the pushchair can fit in the tightest of spaces when out in the city and travelling. The elevators can be used on the carrycot, meaning Georgia can be higher up and closer to me – perfect for longer trips.
Are you planning on taking little Georgia away this summer?
We have just come back from a holiday in Cornwall. My parents first took me there when I was 6 months old and I’ve been going every year since. When the weather is good, it’s the most perfect holiday!
What baby travel items did you take?
I was so excited to use our iCandy Raspberry on holiday, as it's a lightweight pushchair with a large basket, so it's quick and easy – ideal for our trip away. The pushchair can hold up to 5kg, which is so useful when you want to go out for the day and have towels, snacks and other baby things to take with you.
It doesn’t need a carrycot either, so that’s one less thing to worry about, by simply reclining the seat to a lay flat position it’s suitable from birth! The seat unit is soft and comfortable, and made with a water resistant fabric so it's really easy to clean.
We’ve chosen grey on chrome (the beetle flavour pack) - I simply love the large grey hood, which not only looks great, but also offers Georgia protection from the sun. This colour looks chic and stylish, and I love taking Georgia out in it.
