Introducing the iCandy 2017 Collection - NEW iCandy Orange Pushchair

It is the biggest trade event of the year for iCandy at Kind + Jugend in Cologne.

The event is expected to attract more than 1,000 exhibitors from around the globe and over 20,000 trade visitors from 110 countries. With the show now underway, we didn’t want to leave iCandy fans out of the loop, we will be using this page as an opportunity to showcase our latest innovations and provide snippets of information on what to expect from the iCandy brand as we move into 2017.

It is the final day of Kind + Jugend it has been a fantastic show for us, one in which the iCandy stand has attracted widespread attention, we have one final piece of innovation to share with everyone.

Our lightweight iCandy raspberry pushchair will receive a welcome addition to its accessory range for 2017. Similar to our Peach pushchair, the Raspberry will now benefit from innovative iCandy elevators which bring baby higher and closer to the parent, promoting interaction in the crucial early formative years. Understanding the needs of the modern day parent, the elevators can also be used in world-facing mode to bring the child closer to the table for when out and about in restaurants, cafes or even at home. What’s more, a parent will still be able to fold the pushchair with the elevators still attached to the chassis. We are positive that the Raspberry elevators will help enhance a product which has already enjoyed much success and will also provide easier access to the basket.

The weekend has arrived, and the show continues with more visitors flocking towards our wonderful iCandy stand. The star attraction today is the fresh makeover for our iconic iCandy Peach pushchair.

After much consumer feedback, we are delighted to unveil the brand new all black Peach pushchair, the Jet. The revamped all black Peach pushchair is undeniably a fashion statement, not identical to the previous Jet, we have modified the colourway ever so slightly, giving it a fresh look and feel for 2017. The Jet colourway will now feature grey details to the piping and the stitching, offering even more distinctive style to the pushchair. The new Jet fabrics will work alongside the sleek black iCandy chassis.

Secondly, we have added a brand new distinctive colourway to the Peach range for 2017…The “hybrid” colourway infuses two of our best loved colours, the new colour on show is the Moonlight. Moonlight seamlessly blends the iCandy Royal colourway with Truffle, creating a truly unique colour palette. An eye catching combination, one which is sure to receive envious glances, Moonlight is for parents who want to stand out from the crowd. The new Moonlight colour will be complimented by the contemporary space-grey chassis from iCandy, completing an extremely fashionable ensemble, fresh for 2017. The exclusive new Peach colours are currently the talk of the show, as our most popular model, the new designs are certainly causing a stir and building excitement.

Day two at Kind + Jugend, looking across the stand we can now share our exclusive Strawberry Style collection, a celebration of all things British. Our new limited edition Strawberry Style collection is a homage to classic British design, and acknowledges our success in winning the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade earlier this year. Retailers and distributors alike are currently marvelling at the intricate craftsmanship and tasteful British finish.  Read below to view more information on the new collection we are currently have on display at the show.

Our Strawberry Style collection features distinctive fully reversible flavour packs, which a parent can mix and match to suit their sense of style. There are over 16 combinations in total, meaning parents around the world can customise the pushchair with their very own unique sense of style.

The Strawberry Style Collection encompasses three typically British flavours. Firstly, the Cambridge Edition features a deep green waxed fabric, with a grey quilted herringbone material. Meanwhile, the Strawberry Soho boasts a grey fabric, complete with a silver trim. Finally, the Tudor edition of the Strawberry Style collection displays a rich blue fabric, infused with a gold finish. Each pushchair within the Strawberry Style collection is identified with rich embroidered branding, rather than the woven cotton label.

We believe that the new strawberry Style Collection is the pushchair which exudes style, along with unparalleled functionality. It is our take on classic British design, and we cannot wait for the public to get hands on with the British design.

The pushchair will work in the same way as the current Strawberry and will be released in October 2016
