My Birth Story by Korin Nolan

My Birth Story by Korin Nolan

So, this is my first post after the birth of my baby boy Jack who is now three months old. The time has flown by and I am finally starting to find my feet as a mother of two little ones! (I really feel like I need the ‘sweat’ emoji after that last sentence, rather than just an exclamation mark!)

I knew it was going to be tough, but nothing quite prepared me for the ups and downs I’ve faced in all honesty. There’s been a lot of jealously issues from my two year old as she’s been so used to having our full attention, which has made day to day life stressful to say the least. Plus I’ve been diagnosed with a prolapse,  which really knocked me sideways , as I obviously wasn’t expecting this at all. Yep, no one warns you that it’s so common after birth. On top of this all, I have had the most raging hormones, that have made me at times feel like I was going slightly insane. Oh the joy!

Despite all this, I try remind myself every day how incredibly lucky I am to have such beautiful, healthy babies and that it will get easier. So, to all you other new mum's out there experiencing similar issues, I salute you and please know that you are not alone!

I’ve got so much to share with you all, and as I say in the video, if you have any questions or topics you’d like me to cover then please drop me an email korin@powerpilatesuk and I would love to help!

But firstly, I hope you enjoy my birth story and say hello to Jack!
