Whether you make your own or order bits online then set the party scene with decorations aplenty. Start by deciding on a theme- under the sea? Princess? Dinosaurs? Safari? Pirates? Or how about hosting your own at-home festival? Start by setting up a tepee or make-shift tent in the living room or garden, create wristbands for entry and get some hot dogs on the go! To complete the look, a homemade flower crown and a pair of wellies are a must.
A virtual get together
Why not host a big virtual party with family and friends via a video call online? How about virtual rhyme time with playgroup friends or for older children set up a birthday quiz or bingo game. Don’t forget to tell virtual attendees the chosen party theme in advance so that they can get on board with fancy dress and decorations too.
