iCandy says:
Combining a bamboo handle with a removable coloured silicone spoon head, these spoons are designed to be easy for babies to handle whilst being environmentally friendly too.
What's on the box
Gentle and safe for your little one. Available in 6 cheery colours, our bamboo and silicone tip spoons will not support the growth of fungus, mould or bacteria. They are odorless and tasteless, heat resistant and freezer safe. Bamboo and silicone allow you to feed your child without exposure to BPA and other chemicals that leech into food from plastic baby utensils.
First impressions of the bamboo bamboo Baby Feeding Spoons
"On first impressions the bamboo bamboo baby feeding spoons look and feel great. The packaging is very simple, but serves its purpose and is more environmentally friendly than some others (plastic free and less waste). The silicone spoon is a fantastic colour and I love the fact the spoons come in a range of different colours โ very appealing to babies. They are less child friendly looking than other cutlery on the market, but definitely look more expensive than they are. However the wooden texture of the handle seems like it would be great as a sensory experience for little hands."

"Loved the nice and simple cardboard box that these came in. Opened up really easily with no faff. I like the design of the spoons and how well-made they look. The handle is nice and sturdy and the spoon itself seems nice and strong but also allows some flex when baby has it in their mouths. They're nice and light but not too light. I was a bit concerned that the top of the spoon does come off. I'm sure this allows for simpler cleaning, but, I will definitely be keeping a close eye on this. The colours are nice and stand out well and they're also a good, decent size."

"Wonderful premium packaging of the bamboo bamboo spoons make these feel like a top-end product. The design and the colours that these spoons come in really set them apart from the others for initial impressions. Like with the bowls though, the packaging again contains no advice of how to look after the product and whether they are suitable for microwaves or dishwashers."

Did the bamboo bamboo Baby Feeding Spoons help your baby during feeding times?
Easy to hold
"The long handle makes it easy to see where you are putting the spoon but unfortunately the size of the spoon itself was too big for our girls." - Carson
"I found my baby wasn't overly interested in these spoons to begin with. The spoon itself seems quite large and an awkward shape for him to get into his mouth. I have used this spoon to spoon-feed him and he struggled to get the food off of the spoon as the edges are quite high. He did like chewing them as they have a lot of flexibility and won't hurt his gums when feeding. He could easily pick these up but I also felt that the handle was too long for him to have any control. If the spoons weren't as deep in the middle and the handle was a bit longer, I think they would suit him more."

"The spoons feel great in hand, but are a little heavier and bigger than some others which made it harder for my son to hold, but when he did he loved chewing on one. The silicone part is very soft which is great for a baby whoโs teething and has sore gums and makes it easier to clear up any mess around my son's face as the silicone bends and is more delicate than metal or plastic ones. My son was quite interested in the colour of the spoon which helped keep him engaged for the whole meal and made him more willing to eat."

Would you recommend the bamboo bamboo Baby Feeding Spoons?
Yes
Yes but for the same reasons as the bowls. For design, they were lovely but due to size, I would say these spoons are designed for slightly larger babies. A nice touch though was that the silicone head could be removed from the handle which made for really easy cleaning, although still not dishwasher compatible.

Yes
I would recommend these spoons to another parent as they are extremely high quality and my son seems to love them. They have an excellent feel and the silicone spoon is very friendly to young gums and teeth. The spoons come in a fantastic range of colours which would appeal to all babies and young children. These would make a lovely additional gift as part of a baby shower present. The only downside is that they can not be put in the dishwasher.

Yes
I would recommend these to parents of babies a little older than 6 months. They will be fantastic for our baby in a couple of months when he can open his mouth wider and get all of the food off of the spoon. They are nice and flexible and will definitely help with getting food out of bowls. The design is nice and simple. They are lovely and sturdy and will last a long time and up until they're toddlers. The spoons will withstand being thrown about and also chewed on which is a huge bonus for us in our house.

Reviewer recommendations
iCandy Recommends
Our reviewers were unanimous in their first impressions of these spoons, from the packaging to the bright colours of the silicone spoon heads. Whilst the removable spoon heads are dishwasher safe, the bamboo handles are not which was a downside for our testers - with one parent concerned about the choking risk of the removable head too. The review panelโs feedback suggests the size of the spoon makes it more suited to an older baby, yet thanks to the textures and colours offered a great sensory experience for all ages.
