An alternative to traditional swaddling, this sleeping bag allows baby to sleep in their natural position, with their arms up.
What's on the box
This first-stage bag helps babies transition from the womb to the world. The Love To Dream Swaddle UP Warm 2.5 Tog Sleeping Bag helps babies sleep better, fitting like a traditional cloth swaddle but without the need for complicated wrapping, so they feel bundled up safe and secure. In a 2.5 tog, it's great for cooler seasons.
First impressions of the Love To Dream Swaddle UP Warm Sleeping Bag
"Nice design. Felt a little thin for a 2.5 tog sleeping bag."
"Love the design. Easy to use."
"Feature design-led sleeping bag that’s really great for early stages of having a baby or smaller babies. My husband was worried about the way it basically made your baby sleep with their hands in the air but after the first night of use and our baby boy sleeping longer than he had ever done before he was converted."
How did the Love To Dream Swaddle UP Warm Sleeping Bag make your life easier?
"Oryn now moves so was unable to use arms when rolled onto belly. The instructions [say] not to use if your child can roll." - Jess
"Kept baby's arm secure and reduced startle reflex."
"Best night sleep my baby had in this swaddle bag, I wish I’d have had one earlier! Really simple design, the stretchy sections for the arms blade to easy to pop him in, and straightforward centre zip design made it simple to use."
Would you recommend the Love To Dream Swaddle UP Warm Sleeping Bag?
Yes for parents of younger babies, as does not allow baby to suck their thumb. A slightly thicker material and an option to un-swaddle would be good though.
The design is lovely & use is easy this would be brilliant from birth to 3 months. For more value for money, I would have liked it to have removable arms so you get more use out of it.
Yes but I’d make sure I’d have one quite early on to make the most use of it. I do honestly believe it really helped our little boy sleep better, which is all a parent wants in life! Unfortunately our baby boy is very tall and his arms were too long to fit in the arm sections (even though he was well under the recommended weight for being suitable for it).
Our review panel was impressed by the neutral design of this sleeping bag but primarily by the sense of security it gave to baby, therefore reducing startle reflex. Whilst the design was perfect for younger babies, this sleeping bag did not offer the longevity parents hoped for given the price, as the nature of the design means it is not suitable for longer babies or babies who can roll.
