"I really like the look of the My Expert Midwife products and find the packaging and design modern and neat. This nipple balm comes in a small tube bottle with a pump, which means application is easy and the pump keeps everything clean and distributes the perfect amount. I liked the consistency of this balm, it's slightly oily so is really easy to rub in and absorbs into the skin really well, leaving just a very slight trace. This is a really natural product, with only 3 ingredients so it is unfragranced, but there is a slight scent of almond oil upon first application. Overall, I was really drawn to this product as I think it looks more like a nice skin care product than a nipple cream!"

Yes, great product design with the pump which makes it a lot easier to apply and less messy compared to other balms. Relieved soreness very quickly and has a smooth silky consistency when applying.

I would definitely recommend this product. I love how natural the ingredients are and I really like the texture of the balm as opposed to a cream. It absorbs really well into the skin and makes your skin really soft and supple. I also found this to be an excellent lip balm and actually used it more on my lips whilst in hospital! It's the smallest of the three and My Expert Midwife is slightly more expensive than other options, but for this product in particular, a little goes a long way so I think it is worth the money.

Our review panel was impressed by the premium look of this nipple balm and whilst this is reflected in the price, its effectiveness was worth it for our testers. The slightly oily and silky formulation with subtle almond fragrance absorbed well into the skin and the 3 natural ingredients meant all testers felt confident using it in terms of baby’s safety. The pump design offering easy application was a big positive all-round. A top tip from one of our testers - this makes a great lip balm!
