"The packaging is a little busy again and the stars are a little difficult for Jude to hold but the tomato circles were enjoyed as he could hold these much easier! He had three in one sitting so he must of been buoyed them! These would’ve good if the were resealable as a baby will never eat a whole pack!"

"I was pleasantly surprised to see the Star and Ring puffs in this range. Puff snacks are a staple in our household so it was nice to see a new brand to try. The bag was of high quality and when opened was reasonably full. The puffs themselves are brightly coloured and not too crumbly and both my 7 month old and 2 year old absolutely loved them."

Would you recommend the Piccolo Multigrain Puffs to another parent and why?
Yes
I would recommend the Piccolo Carrot Star Puffs and Tomato Ring Puffs to other parents as a great alternative to other brands as they have a great flavour and crunch and went down a treat with my little ones. They are the perfect snack for on the go, for lunchboxes or for just a snack at home. I would advise parents however that if having these on the go, to take a spare pair of clothes as they are very highly pigmented and will stain your little one’s clothes if you have a baby like mine who likes to smear their hands everywhere whilst eating! It wasn’t too much of a problem with my 2 year old, but by the time my 7 month old had finished the pack, he was bright orange and so were his clothes.

Yes, they are easy for baby to hold and tasty. They are convenient for when you are out and about and a healthy snack choice. Plus they are nice and soft/ melt easy once dribbled on and sucked so you can be at ease that there won’t be any choking issues. Although I would always watch Jude like a hawk just in case! They keep baby busy too so if you need an extra 5-10 minutes to just breath or do the washing up they gave me those extra few minutes which were much appreciated! I would definitely recommend these to all mummy’s and daddies!

Piccolo Multigrain Puffs will be recommended to my parent friends as they are perfect for on the go snacks. A healthy option which smells good and doesn’t make too much mess! I have tried some similar items from other brands which leave a little ones’ hands very sticky and some of the flavours can be overwhelming, but Piccolo has hit the perfect balance with a melt in the mouth texture as well as a delicious taste (my daughter and I both agreed that they were yummy!) There were also a good number of puffs in the pack which is helpful if a few end up on the floor!

Our reviewers were all impressed by the Multigrain Puffs and all felt they were a great way of introducing texture and flavour into the weaning process. The circle shapes in particular were easy for little reviewers to hold, whereas the star shapes were slightly trickier. One reviewer commented that the snacks did leave some staining on baby’s clothes, whilst another commented that they didn’t make too much mess. Perhaps making the packaging resealable would be a good step towards less wastage.
