iCandy says:
An attractive and supportive feeding pillow, although slightly on the firm side.

Feeding and nursing pillow that helps to maintain a correct posture and ensures your baby is able to feed easily.
First impressions of the Chicco Boppy Nursing Pillow
"Lovely design, very firm and nice shape for wrapping around."
- Amanda
"Packaged well, with a nice subtle pattern."
- Lisa
"I really liked the look of the Chicco Boppy Pillow. The wording design is cute yet also neutral, so it fits in nicely with our nursery and around the rest of the house too. It's fairly large and looks well filled and solid, whilst the outer material is quite soft and fairly gentle against baby's skin. On first impression I felt this was a well made, good quality nursing pillow. It also comes in a zip up plastic case, so it's easy to transport and pack away if needed."

Did the pillow make feeding a more comfortable experience for you and baby?
Very firm
"Helped raise baby up towards me reducing the strain in my back." - Amanda
"For me, the pillow was a good fit and did bring Poppy to a good height for feeding. I also find sometimes half way through a feed she will start to slip down as she gets sleepy, and having the pillow in place prevents this from happening, and kept her in a good position for the whole feed. The pillow is rather firm so there isn't much wiggle room for baby to adjust if needed. As I had a c-section, I found the pillow helped to keep baby away from my scar, and to reduce the pressure in the area. It also kept Poppy at a good height when falling asleep after a feed, and I found the pillow saved my arms and provided an bit of extra support."

"The pillow brought the baby to the right height, however I found it to be quite firm and difficult to comfortably fit around my body."

Would you recommend the Chicco Boppy Nursing Pillow?
Yes
Yes I would. Perfect level of firmness. Can also be used for sitting your baby in as they get bigger. But [I don't think] it would be suitable for larger women.
- Amanda
Yes
As a nursing pillow progressing to a seat for baby, it makes it a great all rounder. It's extremely comfortable for baby to sit in. I would like it if it was slightly less firm and, therefore, moulded to the body a bit better
- Lisa
Yes
I would definitely recommend the Boppy nursing pillow to another parent. It's a really good size and I found it comfortable for both me and baby. We've also used it to support Poppy as she's getting bigger and already trying to sit up! As she grows I think it would also be great for tummy time and for her to continue to sit up in when she needs just a bit of extra support. I do think it would be even better if the filling was slightly less firm and a bit more malleable, which would make it a bit easier for baby to settle into position and adjust their angle whilst feeding slightly if needed.

Reviewer recommendations
iCandy Recommends
Our review panel was impressed by the neutral design and soft-touch feel of the Boppy Nursing Pillow, with the handy travel case offering an extra bonus. The comfort provided for mother and baby thanks to the ergonomic design made this a worthwhile purchase, especially for our tester who had a c-section. Whilst the consensus was that the pillow was a little on the firm side, its ability to progress from a nursing pillow to a baby seat was a big plus.
