Housing the Summer 14 collection, iCandy’s website now allows users to purchase
Following great customer demand, iCandy World’s e-commerce site is now live. For the first time, the aspirational pushchairs are now available direct from the brand themselves. A company never to stand still, iCandyworld.com has developed from an online look book to an e-commerce site housing the latest collection from the world’s leading pushchair brand.
The online shop will act as iCandy’s ‘digital flagship store’ and will house the full spring 14 collection as well as special editions and the much anticipated Peach 3 range. The iStore ‘shop’ function will serve the UK before being rolled out internationally in the future.
Making the world of iCandy available at your fingertips, the site has also been designed to build brand awareness, with sections dedicated to the iCandy story, latest press news, the configurator that allows users to create their bespoke iCandy, and customer support providing everything from iSpare parts to video demonstrations. The new platform has now evolved and affords iCandy a very hard-working digital presence on which to inspire trade and serve their fast-growing customer base.
In a recent iCandy survey, a great 82% of consumers voted ‘yes’ for iCandy to sell directly online. Developed by the digital marketing agency ‘My Social Agency’ the move marks a complete overhaul of iCandy’s online platform, which the brand ensures will match the level of customer service that customers currently receive in-store.
“We are proud to be involved with this development for iCandy, a brand that we all admire. Creating a fully mobile responsive website within tight deadlines was a challenge we relished, and we are delighted to have created a finished, working product in record time.” said Mark Mitchell, Managing Director of My Social Agency Ltd.
Martin Boyle, Managing Director of iCandy said “This is a great step for iCandy, buying a pushchair for a child is a special moment, especially for the first time. Everything we do is highly personal and the site needed to reflect that and be interesting from both a commercial and an awareness perspective. The most important thing for me is that whoever visits the site can interact with it and that there is the depth of information to allow our customer to explore iCandy World in a curated space. The scope of iCandy and the revolution in technology presents new and exciting opportunities in the e-commerce space.”
